Autumn Art

In November, Gabi started an art class with her piano teacher. We discovered that Gabi is a great artist! She creates something new each week, and she drew all of these herself.

In her first class, she drew a watercolor panda, and in the next class she drew the Eiffel Tower with pastels.

The dogs are a poodle, a pug, a dalmatian, and a "regular dog" (according to Gabi).

Here's a picture Gabi colored back in August:

Bella's teacher sent home some of her artwork in August for us to save as a comparison with the end of the year. (The first picture in Bella's August art is of "breakfast.")

I also scanned in these drawings that Bella made at preschool in October. I love the tree with a falling leaf!

Merry Christmas

Our family, all dressed up for Christmas Mass

We let the girls open their new snow suits early so we could use them to play in the snow!

Bella decided to make a "snow bib angel" with her new snow pants and coat.

Getting a good family picture is difficult with three young children...

We took pictures in front of the nativity scene at church before Christmas Eve Mass.

Michael and these guys provided excellent music for Christmas Eve Mass.

Lolo Eddie, Lola Terry, Tita Christine, and our family all together after Mass

The girls love the joy (and chaos) of Christmas morning.

Gabi is our bookworm.

Tita Christine set up a "shooting range" for the kids to use Daddy's new rubber band gun.

Denver Zoo

Bella, Katarina, and I took Tita Christine to the Denver Zoo the week of Thanksgiving.

We had been to the zoo several times before as well.

Daddy and Gabi joined us on a zoo trip one weekend, too.

And one day, it was just Kati and me at the zoo.
