Denver Art Museum

Once a month, the Denver Art Museum has free day. We enjoy visiting the DAM occassionally, as they have plenty of kid-friendly activities. In September, the Native American society was hosting a pow-wow and selling traditional crafts and food.

Currently, the visiting exhibit is Marvelous Mud, and museum visitors can model clay for free. Here's a tea cup that I made!

A professional artist (and retired art professor) was teaching us how to make cups and trucks and such with clay, and he offered to fire my tea cup for me.

    Melissa,
Your tea cup looks great. You’ll have to show it to us when we come. You are so good about getting out to lots of different events. It’s always fun for us to see the pictures of your happy family.
    Love, Mom
